Thank you, Starbucks! In Europe, you have always been a taste of home (America). And, now, in America, you have satisfied a longing for our European home. I can order a cafe latte or double espresso without worry that I’ll be stared down as a strange foreigner. I’m afraid that I’ve become a coffee snob having lived in Europe over the past 13 years. I have experienced reverse culture shock being back in the States without the option of ordering espresso-based coffees at restaurants (even fast-food joints and gas stations serve these across the pond). So, kudos to you for helping this third-culture adult experience a little piece of home no matter where I am.

Today I decided that I would like to own a Starbucks or create my own coffee shop someday. Can it look like this? I sure...
